SUGGESTED DAYTRIP:
Koblenz and the Rhine Valley - 80km. Take one of the several early morning
trains to Koblenz, where the Moselle river unites with „father Rhine“ at the
“Deutsches Eckâ€ﾝ. Around noontime you hop on a ferry for a boat-ride on the
Rhine down south while you pass by several castles on top of the vineyards.
Every village where the ferry stops has also a local train stop. So get off
wherever you want and taste the famous local wine in one of the
uncountable wine bars before you take a train via Koblenz back to Cologne.
