Eastern Comfort hostel boat

The „eastern comfort“ hostel boat is located directly at the “Oberbaum” bridge, one of the most beautiful bridges over the river “Spree”, and next to the so called “East Side Gallery” the longest left over peace of the former boundary wall between east and west berlin during the cold war. The wall is 10 meters away. 15 years ago, it would have cost you your life, trying to step on this ground! Now, it is one of the most visited spots in Berlin. The areas left and right of the river are the upcoming districts of “Friedrichshain” in the former east and Kreuzberg in the former west.
