Hello there people, i have stayed at this place couple of times - work or just for fun. It is a wonderful atmosphere and compared to other hostels I know (like LONDON), the rooms are nice and BIG. Kitchen is wonderful to use and the lounge area has always been a place to have fun and meet all kinds of people. You never leave this place without making new friends. If you want to have a great time in Nuremberg, you defintely have to stop here. Dirk - he is just a great guy and always fun.

Central and quiet, his hostel is truly a star. if you happen to travel anywhere in the area, stay there for a sort of homecoming - there's a fully equipped kitchen - besides tea and coffee, they even supply you with spices, and the large dining table invites you to share your food with fellow travellers. the lounge area is just as colourful and cosy as the kitchen, and the bathrooms are new and squeaky clean. bless these guys for putting in shower doors as opposed to the usual mouldy clingy curtains! :) The 6-8 bed dorms are huge, and the beds all have their individual lighting and socket. But the true attraction, on top of all this, is the wonderfully welcoming and laid back atmosphere that really gets strangers to become friends. I largely blame it on the owner, Dirk, who just really seems to like having guests around and can often be found at the kitchen table having beer and sharing stories with the international crowd. Work takes me there a few times a year, and never once have I managed to go to bed when I should have :) It's located on the edge of the red light district, but the area is totally safe. A definite 5 stars.
