Black Forest Hostel

wonderful hostel, great atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff plus it's right in town. i've stayed here more than once because i always love to come back to this city and this hostel!

very friendly atmosphere and open minded people and staff. best style ever seen, no ikea, thank god. not new, used, and very good. no bunk beds. lots of space for the guests and the absoutley best self catering kitchen i ever seen. thank these guys!

regarding the staff's kindness, it appealed more like a reeducation-camp than a backpacker hostel. It was my first visit of a german hostel and may be this is just 'german hostel-mentality.'

Hostel hat uns gar nicht gefallen. Unsauber und zudem sind die Serviceleute sehr unfreundlich. Auch wenn der Preis sehr niedrig ist sollte man doch von einem etwas freundlicheren Service ausgehen.

Great place! You and the rest of the visitors feel like a family. Also, the showers are very clean. The kichen is big, busy and very fun. But the bicycles were not that good.
