Nuremberg’s nightlife offers great social outlets for young and old alike. Taking advantage of the inner-city walkway to find your way to the club, theatre or scenery of your choice is a great way to explore the city. Although easily accessible, it is not by any means necessary because everything within the city is within a 15 min. walking distance.

For quite some time Nuremberg claims to be the safest big
city in Germany. With a decrease of the crime rate by 1.2%
in 2001 Nuremberg is again in front of the cites with a
population of over 300,000. 9,075 crimes per 100,000
inhabitants were registered of which 63.2% were solved.

Nuremberg is surrounded by attractive landscapes: to the
East the Franconian hills, to the North "Franconian
Switzerland" (mostly known as the “Frankenjura” the most popular freeclimbing area in Germany) and to the Southwest the Franconian Lakes.
